In December 2007 the first Danboard figures landed. They were the 130mm versions of the what most call the “Original” or “Normal” Version and the “Amazon” version.
The Original Version has no markings, with an included separate connection and head of Miuri Hayasaka, the six year old girl who dresses up as a cardboard robot in the Manga Series, Yotsuba&! Produced by Kaiyodo, there have been other versions produced in the same model but varying box designs in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

The Amazon version also includes the head of Miuri Hayasaka, but is marked with amazon.co.jp representing the Amazon Company and their box design. This was also produced in various versions in 2011 and 2013. The original version has a bardcode or JAN number of 4525296011753.

The mini versions began coming out in 2008, starting with the Amazon version in the December. The mini versions stand 80mm high and does not include Miuri Hayasaka’s head. The Amazon mini has the same markings as the 130mm version. This version of Danboard if the most photographed model as photographers around the world travel with this cute character capturing him in everyday or humorous situations, myself included. This model has been faked, be careful if you are buying off ebay. I unfortunately dont have the barcode or JAN number for the original 2008 version, so if you know, please pass on the information. There are newer versions including July 2011 and July 2013. Again same model just different boxes.

The “Original” or “Normal” mini did not come out until the February of 2013. Like its big brother it has no markings but does not include Miuri Hayasaka’s head. It like all minis stands at 80mm and has been produced in various versions. New versions have come out in June 2013, June 2014 and December 2016. The barcode/JAN numbers for the 2013 model is 4537807050151 and fro 2014 is 4537807050496. I believe the original model barcode/JAN model was 4537807050106 but I need confirmation on that.
