In December 2013 three concept models were released that focused on three very different ideas.
The 1st of the three was “Sweat” and features one sweat drop on the upper right corner of Danbo’s face and the same on the back. This model was later released as part of an ‘Emotional Danboard Series” along with two others, Cry and Anger, in 2017. There will be a post about those versions later.

The third part of the Danbo-Mini Concept Model collection is the Mini Panzer III. The Panzer III is a medium sized tank developed by Germany in the 1930s and used by the Japanese in WWII. I am not sure of the significance of the number 114, but in undertaking research the Japanese did have an 114th infantry division of the Japanese Imperial Army. This division was originally formed in 1937 and included Engineering, Transport and Field Artillery. The 114th division had a call sign of Commander Division (将兵団, Sho Heidan).
