The first official YELLOW Danboard was a collaboration with Tower Records. The figure includes their logo and their tagline “NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.”. You could purchase this version from the Yotsuba Danboard store, all Tower Records stores and from their website.

Tower Records began in Sacramento, California. It became an extremely successful company across the United States and franchised into 17 other countries. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2006 as online music sales increased. The Tower Records stores in Japan split off from the main chain in 2002 and are now independent and extremely successful. TowerRecords Japan has 83 stores found throughout Japan.
